About This Role
Oversee and manage construction site operations, ensuring all works are carried out safely and to specification. Coordinate with contractors and site teams on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Scaffolder, you will be responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures safely and efficiently in line with project requirements and industry regulations.
- You will ensure all scaffolding materials are properly inspected before use and are handled in accordance with best practices.
- You will verify that all scaffolding structures are stable, secure, and fully compliant with health and safety standards.
- You will assist with loading, unloading, and transporting scaffolding materials to and from various work sites.
- You will carry out all scaffolding work according to instructions provided by supervisors or foremen.
- You will ensure that all required personal protective equipment—including harnesses, helmets, gloves, and safety boots—are always worn while on site.
- You will maintain a clean and organized work area, free from unnecessary materials and potential hazards.
- You will promptly report any damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or incidents to management.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a scaffolder within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work at heights safely and confidently.
- Solid understanding of scaffolding safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant scaffolding certifications will be considered an asset.
- Possession of a valid driving licence.
- Applicants must currently reside in Malta.
