About This Role

A vacancy has arisen at the Mediterranean College of Sport (MCS) & Sports Star Lodge for the post of Sales & Operations Executive on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who can balance commercial awareness with strong organizational skills, driving sales opportunities while ensuring the smooth day-to-day coordination of bookings and client services. The successful candidate will play a key role in generating new business, managing client relationships, and supporting operational processes to deliver a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries via email, phone, and other communication channels.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities for the Mediterranean College of Sport, targeting local and international clients.
  • Sell and promote facilities at MCS, including; Accommodation (beds), Sports Facilities, Classrooms & Education spaces
  • Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through effective sales techniques, negotiation and upselling.
  • Conduct site inspections and show rounds of accommodation, sports facilities, and classrooms for prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Sports teams, schools, and other clients.
  • Monitor bookings against sales targets and actively work to achieve and exceed them.

Reservations

  • Manage and maintain the accommodation availability chart, ensuring real-time accuracy.
  • Update and manage rooming lists, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
  • Coordinate food and catering requirements with external caterers based on confirmed bookings.

Invoicing & Operations

  • Prepare, issue, and follow up on client invoices in line with agreed terms.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth booking operations and client satisfaction, marketing and promotions.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, client communications, and financial documentation.
  • Ensure all booked services are accurately reflected in billing.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in sales, hospitality, or operations (preferably within accommodation, or sports sectors)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Confident in handling enquiries, negotiations, and closing sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive and flexible approach
  • Multi-tasking and can work under pressure and on her/his own initiative.
