About This Role
Are you a skilled joinery carpenter with a passion for precision and craftsmanship? We’re looking for a talented and reliable Joinery Carpenter & Installer to join our team and work on a range of bespoke and commercial fit-out projects. As part of our growing team, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing custom joinery solutions. We value dedication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood and wood-based products
- Install joinery items such as cabinetry, doors, staircases, partitions, skirting, and cladding
- Operate and maintain woodworking tools and machinery safely
- Work on-site to install fitted furniture and complete installations to high quality standards
- Collaborate with site supervisors, designers, and other trades
- Ensure work complies with safety regulations and company standards
- Carry out adjustments, repairs, and finishing work when required
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a joinery carpenter and installer (minimum 5 years preferred)
- Strong technical skills in both workshop joinery and site installation
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools accurately
- Competent in the use of woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Good understanding of joinery materials
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
- Trade qualifications or vocational training in carpentry/joinery (preferred)
