Key Responsibilities
- Laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry units to specified patterns and construction requirements.
- Reading and accurately interpreting construction plans, drawings, and levels to ensure correct layout and execution of works.
- Cutting and shaping materials to fit corners, arches, and other structures using hand tools or power tools as required.
- Preparing, mixing, and applying mortar to the correct consistency and specification for different types of masonry work.
- Ensuring proper alignment, levels, bonding, and finish of masonry work in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Ensuring compliance with OHSA Malta regulations and company health and safety policies at all times.
- Correctly using and maintaining appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in line with safety requirements.
