The Role

As a member of the team, the Maintenance Operative will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the property section within Vassallo Group Realty Ltd.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Inspecting and overseeing the facilities and reporting any identified faults to the Project Manager and / or the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assisting the Maintenance Team with maintenance of the buildings including painting, general repair work, basic plumbing duties etc.
• Assisting with furniture moves & general day to day needs.
• Ensuring that the properties are clean to the required specifications whilst adhering to defined procedures and managing daily work lists as generated by the Project Manager and / or the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Reporting emergencies in the case of faults with electric and water supply to the Project Manager and / or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ensuring that all required checklists are completed for all duties.
• Maintaining appropriate records including maintenance jobs and other checks as required.
• Monitoring and reporting stock level of consumable items.
• Following all health and safety regulations.
• Adhering to company policies and legal regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Having two (2) years’ experience in a similar role would be considered an asset;
• Organizational skills;
• Good verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English;
• Able to build customer relationships and ensure good communication;
• Valid Driving License will be considered an asset.
