The Role

We are looking for a full time smart and professional person to manage our daily cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms, bathrooms, and common areas. The selected person will be maintaining supply inventories, and reporting maintenance issues. Supports event setup, food preparation, and responds to urgent cleaning requests as needed.

The selected person will have the following responsibilities:

• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors in classrooms and common areas
• Dusting and wiping down desks, tables, chairs, and shelves.
• Cleaning and disinfecting handrails, door handles, and light switches.
• Emptying and cleaning trash and recycling bins.
• Emptying trash bins and replacing liners.
• Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and urinals.
• Refilling soap, toilet paper, and paper towel dispensers in bathrooms.
• Mopping and disinfecting floors in bathrooms.
• Ensuring plumbing issues are reported promptly.
• Cleaning and organizing storage stores
• Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and notifying management of replenishment needs.
• Maintaining an inventory of coffee break items and notifying management of replenishment needs.
• Food preparation for events
• Organize shopping lists needed for both cleaning supplies and catering items
• Assisting with setting up or cleaning after school events / private events
• Responding to urgent cleaning requests, such as spills or accidents
• Setting up classrooms and school hall as per clients’ needs
• Responding to cleaning requests needed from third parties

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Have a flexible approach.
• Able to contribute positively as part of a team, by helping with various tasks as may be required.
