HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
FULL TIME
The Role
We are seeking to recruit a Human Resources Manager who shall be responsible for managing one of the Group’s Hotels. He/she will be overseeing the various aspects of HR operations and supporting strategic initiatives within the organization. This role encompasses recruitment, driving strategic initiatives, employee lifecycle management, learning and development, compliance and procedures, amongst other duties and responsibilities.
The selected person will be responsible for:
- Recruitment
- Develop recruitment strategies and create compelling job advertisements.
- Carry out recruitment and selection.
- Collaborate with the relevant recruitment partners and job portals to attract top talent.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and selection process.
2. Strategic Initiatives and Employee Engagement
- Put forward strategic recommendations for implementation in relation to talent management, employee engagement, performance management etc.
- Plan and support employee engagement activities as well as put forward team building initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive employee development and career growth opportunities.
3. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR Policies, Procedures and Regulations.
4. Learning and Development
- Manage learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Deliver training as necessary.
5. Compliance and Procedures:
- Maintain HR policies and procedures compliant with the relevant labor laws, EU directives and regulations.
The Selected person must be flexible to perform any other HR related duties as assigned and based on the needs and priorities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 5 years working experience in a similar senior management role and leading/managing a team.
- Experience in the hospitality industry would be considered as an asset.
- A degree in Occupational Human Resources and/or Hospitality, or a related field, at MQF level 6 or higher.
- Good Command of the English language and Maltese language.
- He/she enjoys being around people.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
