The Company

This role is key to ensuring the effective financial planning, control, and delivery of all our group development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the cost planning and estimation of development projects from concept through completion.
- Prepare and manage detailed bills of quantities and tender documentation.
- Oversee tendering processes, including contractor evaluation and recommendation.
- Support contract negotiations and post-contract cost control.
- Monitor project budgets, manage cost variations, and report on project financials.

Qualifications and Requirements:

The role
As a member of the team, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the property section within Vassallo Group Realty Ltd.
Main Responsibilities include:

Qualifications and Experience:
- Having two (2) years’ experience in a similar role would be considered an asset.

MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE
FULL TIME
The role
A vacancy has arisen at the Mediterranean College of Sport (MCS) & Sports Star Lodge for the post of Maintenance Operative on a temporary full-time basis. The selected candidate would need to have a solid knowledge of maintenance and would be prepared to support the maintenance team in the general tasks and duties.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling in house maintenance including HVAC upkeep, plumbing, lift maintenance, general carpentry as well as any other general maintenance needs for MCS and Sports Star Lodge.
- Recording Electrical, Water and Gas meter readings.
- Recording hot water temperature.
- Recording chlorine level of first-class water system.
- Daily maintenance at the College (including the pool area), student accommodation and the car park.
- Installation, testing, modification and commissioning of Extra low voltage system such as but not limited to CCTV System, Fire Alarm and Access control systems and car park system.
- Upkeeping of classrooms and labs.
- Inspecting guest rooms and making modifications in room layout depending on guests’ requirements on booking.
- Assisting and monitoring sub-contractors working at the College and in guest rooms.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices and able to follow all health and safety regulations.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond to emergency maintenance situations outside regular working hours may be required.
- Able to juggle multiple maintenance requests and projects simultaneously while ensuring that routine maintenance tasks are completed on schedule.
- Adhering to College’s policies and legal regulations.
Skills and Requirements:
- Have two (2) years’ experience in a similar role would be considered an asset.
- Organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English.

The Role
A vacancy has arisen at the Mediterranean College of Sport (MCS) for the post of Football Coach on a full-time basis.
Duties
Plan, prepare and deliver coaching sessions in the youth development phase in tandem with the MCS/SL Benfica philosophy and coaching curriculum.
Organise MCS student-athletes’ logistics for all training sessions and camps.
Be responsible for maintenance of training balls, bibs, cones, and all other relevant equipment as required by MCS.
Attend all department meetings and CPDs as directed by the Head of Football Methodology and the Director of Sports Development and Recruitment.
Forge relationships through an inter-collaborative approach with school administration, performance practitioners, student-athletes, and parents to ensure efficient communication, optimal well-being, and development of student-athletes, and deliver the strategic aims.
Skills & Qualifications
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with colleagues, parents, and student-athletes with absolute discretion.
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
An understanding of a range of teaching/learning styles to optimise intellectual stimulation and development of student-athletes.

Duties
To deliver the performance science provision for the development and performance programmes of student-athletes, and to support them achieving their outcome goals.
To act as a strength & conditioning coach and ensure optimal collaboration within the MCS multi-disciplinary team.
To monitor athlete status, wellness, testing, training recovery, and rehabilitation.
Deliver performance science support in the following areas:
- Data analysis – workload, GPS, and heart rate monitoring
- Anthropometric assessment
- Athlete profiling & benchmarking
- Physiological and fitness assessments
Integrate evidence-based recommendations into daily practice.
Design evidence-based protocols for return to training process and liaise transition with medical department and coaching staff.
Participate in effective CPD programme for performance science staff as appropriate.
Essential Qualifications
- BSc/BA in Sports Science (or related discipline)
- MSc/MRes/MPhil in Sports Science (or related discipline)
Skills
Good understanding of performance science and related disciplines, including their impact on athletic performance.
Experience as an applied practitioner in performance science.
Experience in conducting scientifically underpinned assessment, monitoring and evaluation procedures.
Experience of using data management systems to ensure the secure and efficient storage of monitoring and evaluation data.
A confident decision-maker.
Have a flexible attitude to work.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively with student-athletes, parents, and staff at all levels, with absolute discretion.
